Louisville Academy for English as a Second Language (LAESL)  We are excited about this new program and the opportunity to serve you through our classes!  LAESL is a program to help adult non-native English speakers improve their English language skills in the following ways: ● Become a better reader ● Improve conversation skills ● Develop vocabulary ● Understand English grammar ● Work on formal and informal writing ● Prepare for the GED or college/university ● Learn about United States history and government LAESL has 8-week Special Topic Classes the focus on one specific language skill or area of content. These classes meet throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click Class Schedule and Catalog to see the course description and schedule for each Special Topic Class.
